Principal Investigator
Christopher Morrison is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He directs the Geospatial and Applied Prevention Science lab and serves as Academic Coordinator for the Substance Abuse Epidemiology Training Program in the Department of Epidemiology.

Brady Bushover, MPH
Project Coordinator
Brady Bushover is a project coordinator on the Geospatial and Applied Prevention Science lab team. With a background in injury prevention research and previous experience in research coordination, he leads the team’s data collection and data management efforts, and assists with GIS analyses.

Stanford Chihuri, MPH
PhD Student
Stanford Chihuri is a doctoral student in Department of Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. His research interests focus on substance use, substance use policies and consequent harm outcomes such as injuries from motor vehicle crashes, falls, and self-harm.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Evan Eschliman is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Substance Abuse Training Program in the Department of Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Their research focuses on stigma, stigma’s negative effects on health and well-being, and structurally-responsive stigma intervention.

Christina Mehranbod, MPH
PhD Candidate
Christina Mehranbod is a doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her research focuses on applying spatial epidemiological methods and techniques to study injury risk and substance use (i.e., alcohol) in the United States and globally.

Leah Roberts, MPH
Data Analyst
Leah Roberts is a data analyst on the Geospatial and Applied Prevention Science lab team. She is interested in applying geospatial methods to problems of public health importance and exploring issues related to urban design and injury prevention.

Adam Whalen, MPH
PhD Student
Adam Whalen is a doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology and a pre-doctoral fellow in the Environmental Health and Data Science Training Program at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He is interested in the social and spatial epidemiology of firearm violence, transportation injury, and criminal legal system involvement among vulnerable populations.

Siddhesh Zadey, MS
PhD Student
Siddhesh (Sid) Zadey is a doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with Graduate Research Assistanships in the GAPS Lab and the Columbia Center for Injury Science and Prevention (CCSIP). He is interested in how alcohol use, self-harm behaviors, and firearm violence are related.
